It combines high wear resistance, a wealth of colors and patterns, and a long lifespan, making it an excellent choice for any interior where materials must withstand daily use.
HPL, or High-Pressure Laminate, is a durable material made from several layers of kraft paper and resin, pressed together under high pressure and heat. The paper layers are impregnated with thermosetting resins for strength, and a decorative top layer is added to provide the material’s aesthetic finish. The design selection is vast – including woodgrains, stone and metal patterns, as well as solid colors.
High-Pressure Laminate, typically 0.6–1 mm thick, is bonded to a suitable core material for reinforcement. The material is then cut into components of the required dimensions and undergoes further processing based on the desired final result — whether it be edge banding, CNC milling, or other custom fabrication. This is how durable and stylish furniture and interior solutions are created for various applications.
