What are curved components?
Curved components are panels formed using specialized technology to create a curved or arched shape. Bending allows for the creation of:
- Concave and convex surfaces
- Components with rounded corners
- Radius-based elements
- Smooth transitions between straight and curved surfaces The result is components that are both visually striking and practical.
How are curved components manufactured?
Using a vacuum press, we can process primary bending materials (flexible MDF, flexible plywood) as well as other materials with bending capabilities.
- Shaping: The material is formed to the desired radius using specialized bending methods.
- Surfacing: The surface is covered with laminate, veneer, or another finishing material as required.
- Finishing: Components undergo final processing — cutting, edge treatment, and CNC machining if necessary. All components are manufactured according to specified dimensions, radii, and technical drawings.
Applications
Curved components are particularly suitable for spaces where distinctive design, softer forms, and custom solutions are desired.
